Who provides it
The app is provided free by Websites for Tradespeople, a trading name of JW Digital Services Ltd (company no. 15243830). It is the same company behind our free trade calculators, and the app runs the same code those pages do.

What the figures are
Estimates, for planning and ordering. They are worked out from the dimensions you give and from published bag sizes, densities, mix ratios and statutory rates. They are not a quotation, a specification, a structural calculation or tax advice.
Check quantities against your supplier's own figures before you order, and check anything involving tax or a statutory rate with your accountant. A calculator does not know your job, your ground conditions or your circumstances.
Accuracy, and its limits
We take reasonable care to keep the rates and the maths right, and the same figures are used across the website, this app and our guides so they cannot drift apart. Every answer states the assumptions it made.
We cannot promise the app is always available or always current, and we are not liable for loss arising from relying on an estimate without checking it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Using it
Use it for its purpose, which is working out quantities and figures for building work. Do not try to break it, overload it or use it to build a competing product from our data.
The app is free and we can change or withdraw it. If we withdraw it, the calculators stay on this website.
ChatGPT itself
ChatGPT is OpenAI's product, not ours. These terms cover our app and the answers our calculators give. How ChatGPT handles your conversation is covered by OpenAI's own terms and privacy policy.
We have no relationship with you through ChatGPT beyond the app. We do not know who you are.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
