Adding or removing it
Add it from the app directory in ChatGPT. There is nothing to sign up for and no account to create.
Remove it the same way. Because the app stores nothing, removing it leaves nothing behind to delete.
If an answer looks wrong
Every answer states what it assumed: the waste percentage, the bag size, the mix, the rate. Read those first, because the usual cause is an assumption that does not match your job.
Open the same calculator on this site, linked at the bottom of every answer, and put the same numbers in. If the two disagree, that is a bug and we want to know: email hello@websitesfortradespeople.co.uk (opens in a new tab) with what you asked and what came back.
If you disagree with a figure
Tell us, with a source. Bag sizes, densities, mix ratios and statutory rates are held in one place and dated, and we would rather correct one than have it wrong on a website, an app and a guide at once.
Statutory rates are checked when they change. Supplier figures are checked against published specifications rather than averaged from memory.
What it will not do
It will not guess. If you leave out a dimension it asks for it rather than filling in a number of its own.
It will not give tax advice, structural calculations or a quotation. It works out quantities and figures, and says what it assumed.
