Window cleaning website design
Window cleaning website design built around your round
Homeowners look for a window cleaner close by: around 6,600 searches a month in the UK ask for a window cleaner near them, and 8,100 for gutter cleaning near them. A window cleaner's own website answers what comes next. Do you cover my street, and on which day? How often would you come? How do you reach the upstairs windows? Then it turns those answers into a quote request with the property, the postcode and the frequency already in it.

Brightreach, a demo we designed and built for window cleaners. A fictional business, with illustrative photography.
Example site
A window cleaning website for Stockport and nearby
- Four-step quote request
- Round days by area
- 4, 6 or 8 weekly visits
Demo website

Brightreach is a fictional business. We designed and built its website as a demo of how we build for window cleaners, using illustrative photography.

Ask about the property first
The quote form takes four steps: the property type and the jobs wanted, the postcode and how often, one way to reply, then a check before sending. It asks what a window cleaner needs to price the work, and nothing more.
Property, jobs and frequency
02 / Rounds
Show the round, area by area
Five areas around Stockport, each with an example round day, from Monday in Stockport to Friday in Hazel Grove. Anyone outside the list is asked for a postcode rather than turned away.
A round day for each area
03 / Method
Say how each job is done
Every service page says how the work is reached and what is left out. Conservatory roofs are cleaned from a safe position with extending equipment, never by walking on the panels, and solar panel cleaning carries no promise of more output.
Method and limits on every service
Built for householders
Everything a householder checks before joining your round.
A quote request that asks the right questions
Property type, the jobs wanted, the postcode and how often, then one way to reply. The form fits on a phone and carries every answer into the enquiry.
Your round days, area by area
Each area you cover with the day you are usually there, and a postcode check for the streets just outside. A customer sees whether they fit before they ask.
How you reach the glass
Water-fed poles, ladders or both: say which you use for which job. HSE's guidance is that ladders are not banned, but should not automatically be the first choice.
Prices a homeowner can read
A starting price by house type, with what changes the quote: size, access and the first clean. The figures are yours, shown exactly as you set them.
Frequency and payment, explained once
What a 4, 6 or 8 weekly round means, whether anyone needs to be in, and how and when you are paid. The questions a new customer would otherwise ask on the doorstep.
The other jobs on the van
Gutters, frames and sills, conservatory roofs and solar panels each get a page, with what is included and what is quoted separately.
Found by householders on your round

0161 399 4054What will my fixed quote include?
Your pages, the features on them, the final price and the timescale, in writing before you pay a deposit. Hosting, care and any ongoing SEO are listed separately, so you can see what is one-off and what is monthly. On the Business package the first year of hosting and care is included.
Should my website say whether I use ladders or water-fed poles?
It helps, because customers ask and the answer shapes what they expect on the day. HSE's guidance is that ladders are not banned under health and safety law and can be a sensible option for low-risk, short-duration tasks, but should not automatically be your first choice. In Great Britain, the Work at Height Regulations 2005 require an employer to make sure work is not done at height where it can reasonably be done safely another way, and the same duties apply to a self-employed window cleaner whose work may put other people at risk, such as someone walking under the ladder. Northern Ireland's own 2005 regulations say the same. The site says how you work for each job; we never write safety claims you have not made.
Can customers join my round from the website?
They can ask to. The demo's quote form collects the property, the jobs, the postcode and how often, and the request comes to you to check access and confirm a day. If you run your round on software that takes bookings, we check whether it can link to the site before we quote, and write the answer into the fixed price.
Should I put my prices on the website?
People do search for them: window cleaning prices is searched about 1,000 times a month in the UK. A starting price per house type, with what changes it, answers that without tying you to a figure for a house you have not seen. The demo shows starting prices for a terrace, a semi and a detached house, and says size, access and the first clean can change the quote.
Can the website cover gutters, conservatory roofs and solar panels too?
Yes. Each job gets its own page with what is included, how it is reached and what is quoted separately, as the demo does. Solar panel cleaning is searched about 1,900 times a month in the UK and conservatory roof cleaning about 1,300, so each is worth a page of its own.
