Garage website design

Garage website design that gets cars booked in

Drivers search for a garage by what they need: around 110,000 searches a month in the UK are for an MOT near me, and 201,000 for a garage near me. An independent garage's own website is where that search becomes a booking. It takes the registration and the job, shows a price where the job is fixed, and says plainly that nothing extra is done without the driver's say-so.

01 / Booking request

Book by registration, not by phone tag

The booking request takes five steps: the job, the car by registration or make and model, a day and drop-off time, contact details, then a check before sending. It says nothing is booked until the garage confirms it.

Confirmed by the garage

02 / MOT

An MOT page that gets the rules right

A sample Class 4 MOT price sits beside the £54.85 maximum for a car, with no VAT on the fee. The page covers when the first MOT is due, what a fail means and when a partial retest is free, all from GOV.UK.

03 / Prices

Fixed prices where the job is fixed

The MOT and diagnostics carry a sample price. Servicing, repairs and tyres say how they are priced: for your car, by size, or by phone before any work. Three steps explain the visit: drop off, a call with the price, collect.

A price before any work

Built for drivers

Everything a driver checks before booking an MOT or a service.

The booking request first, the MOT rules drivers check, and prices that match the way you work.
  • A booking request from every page

The job, the registration or make and model, a preferred day and drop-off time, and one way to reach the driver. You confirm each request yourself.

  • MOT prices inside the legal maximum

The government sets a maximum MOT fee, £54.85 for a car, with no VAT on it, and a test station may charge less. Your MOT page shows your price and the retest terms.

  • Prices written the way you quote

Fixed prices for fixed jobs, and a plain line on how the rest is priced. What your site says about the work can become part of the contract, so we write it with you.

  • Opening hours and drop-off times

Workshop hours, the morning drop-off window and bank holiday hours, set out the same way on every page, so nobody turns up to a locked gate.

  • Directions, parking and getting home

Where to leave the car, where the keys go, buses and trains for the trip to work, and whether a courtesy car is offered. The questions drivers ring to ask.

  • Your garage software, checked first

If you book through garage management software, we check what it offers before we quote and price any link to it. Without one, booking requests come straight to your inbox.

  • Drivers with an MOT due

Around 110,000 searches a month in the UK are for an MOT near me, and 8,100 more ask for an MOT and service together. Each driver has a date to hit.

  • Drivers choosing a garage

Searches for a garage near me run at about 201,000 a month, and 22,200 for a car service near me. A driver comparing garages looks for the price and the opening hours.

How it works

From first chat to a website that works.

  1. 01

    Brief

Tell us the jobs you price fixed and the ones you price per car, whether you test MOTs and for which classes, your hours and drop-off times, and any garage software you book through. We agree the scope and a fixed price, including any booking link.

  2. 02

    Build

The booking request, the MOT page, services and prices, hours and directions, written with you. You sign off every page.

  3. 03

    Launch

We send a test booking request, check every price against your list and the MOT fee against the current maximum, and try the booking and the directions on a phone. Then it goes live on a domain in your name.

Your questions, answered

A few things garage owners ask us.

Need a straight answer? Speak to us.

What will my fixed quote include?

Your pages, the features on them, the final price and the timescale, in writing before you pay a deposit. Hosting, care and any ongoing SEO are listed separately, so you can see what is one-off and what is monthly. On the Business package the first year of hosting and care is included.

What should a garage website include?

A way to book from every page that asks for the registration and the job, a list of your services with a price or a plain line on how each is priced, and your opening hours, drop-off times and directions. If you test MOTs, add an MOT page with your fee, which must not be more than the government's maximum, and how retests work. The rest is what makes a driver pick you: who they will speak to, and what happens before any work starts.

How much does a garage website cost?

Starter, from £295, covers a one-ramp workshop on a single page with a booking request by registration. Essentials, from £595, is five pages: home, MOT, services, reviews and contact. Business, from £995, adds a page for each service, from servicing to repairs. Prices include VAT. If you want the site linked to your garage software, we check it first and include it in one fixed price, agreed in writing before you pay.

Can online bookings go into my garage management software?

It depends on the software and what it lets a website do, so we check yours before we quote and write the answer into the fixed price. If a link is not possible, booking requests come to your inbox and you confirm them as you do now.

Do I need my own website if I'm listed on a booking site?

A booking site shows your garage beside others; your own site shows only yours. It is where a driver reads your MOT fee and retest terms, how you price a service, your hours, drop-off times and directions, then books by registration. Keep any listing that brings you work, and point it at the site.

Can I put my MOT price on my website?

Yes. In Great Britain the government sets a maximum fee for each class of vehicle, £54.85 for a car on 1 November 2026, and a test station may charge less. No VAT is paid on the fee, and a card charge must not take the total past the maximum. We put your price beside the vehicle class it applies to and check it against the current maximum before launch.

What should my website say about MOT retests?

What GOV.UK says. If the car stays with you for repair and is retested within 10 working days, the partial retest is free. If it comes back to the same centre by the end of the next working day for certain items, such as lamps, mirrors, wipers and tyres, there is no charge either. Taken away and brought back within 10 working days, a partial retest fee can be charged. Saying which applies saves a phone call.
