Wedding and event venue website design
Wedding venue website design built around the date check
Couples and hosts start with a date. Around 49,500 searches a month in the UK are for wedding venues near me, 9,900 for function rooms near me and 8,100 for party venues near me. A venue's own website answers what they ask next: is our date free, will our guests fit, can we marry here, and can everyone get in? Then it turns those answers into a date check with the occasion, the numbers and the room already in it.

Aldermere Hall, a demo we designed and built for event venues. A fictional business, with illustrative photography.
Example site
A private event venue website for Manchester
- Two-step date check
- Seated and standing, room by room
- A page for each occasion
Demo website

Aldermere Hall is a fictional business. We designed and built its website as a demo of how we build for event venues, using illustrative photography.

Lead with the date
Every page has a route to check a date. The enquiry takes two steps: the occasion, the date, rough guest numbers and the room, then one way to reply. It says nothing is held until the venue confirms it.
Nothing held until confirmed
02 / Spaces
Give every room its numbers
The Main Hall, the Garden Terrace and the VIP Lounge each show seated and standing capacity, the layouts they take and what comes with the room, all marked as sample figures.
Capacity and layouts per room
03 / Occasions
A page for each kind of day
Weddings, parties, corporate events, christenings and wakes each have their own page. The wake page says a room can often be arranged within a few days, and the wedding page says couples book the registrars themselves.
Five occasions, one site
Built for organisers
Everything an organiser checks before asking about a date.
A date check on every page
The occasion, the date, rough numbers and the room, then one way to reply. It says plainly that a date is not held until you confirm it.
Every room with its real numbers
Seated and standing capacity, layouts and what is included, room by room. The figures are the ones you give us, never rounded up.
Ceremony details, if you hold weddings
In England and Wales, name the rooms your council approved for ceremonies. An outdoor ceremony needs the superintendent registrar to confirm each location first, and the site says so.
Finish times that match your licence
In England and Wales, a premises licence can cover selling alcohol, regulated entertainment and late night refreshment. The finish times on the site, for the bar and the band, should sit inside it.
Access and arrival, described honestly
Step-free routes, accessible toilets, parking and transport, said plainly. Misleading information counts as a misleading action under consumer law, so we write only what you confirm.
Open evenings and public dates
Open evenings, wedding fairs and ticketed nights on one calendar, each with its time, its room and how to book or ask.
Found by organisers
The date they want. The room that fits.

Your questions, answered
A few things venues ask us.
Need a straight answer? Speak to us.
0161 399 4054What will my fixed quote include?
Your pages, the features on them, the final price and the timescale, in writing before you pay a deposit. Hosting, care and any ongoing SEO are listed separately, so you can see what is one-off and what is monthly. On the Business package the first year of hosting and care is included.
What should a wedding venue website say about ceremonies?
In England and Wales, if your council has approved the premises for civil marriages and civil partnerships, name the rooms as the approval describes them; the council keeps a register of approved premises with that description. Ceremonies can also take place in linked outdoor areas within your boundary, but the superintendent registrar must first confirm each outdoor location as seemly and dignified, so the site should present an outdoor ceremony as subject to that. In the ceremony room, no food or drink may be sold or consumed for an hour before or during the proceedings, apart from soft drinks beforehand; outdoors, the same holds while guests gather for the ceremony and during it.
Can the website show live availability?
It can if your diary or booking software offers a calendar a website can show, which we check before we quote. A date check is the other route: the couple or host gives the occasion, the date, rough numbers and the room, and you confirm, as the demo does.
Should we publish prices on our website?
That is your decision. A starting price per package, with what it includes, lets a couple check their budget before they ask; a full price list can follow on request. Whatever you choose, the page shows exactly what you give us.
How should capacity and accessibility be shown?
Room by room, with seated and standing figures and the layouts each room takes, as the demo does. Access needs the same care: step-free routes, accessible toilets and parking described as they are. Under the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024, false or misleading information that bears on a customer's decision is a misleading action, so we print only what you confirm.
