Chiropractor website design
Chiropractor website design that explains before it books
Chiropractor website design has to inform as much as it sells. Around 49,500 searches a month in the UK look for a chiropractor nearby, and a patient choosing between clinics wants the first visit explained plainly, the fees and the GCC registration. Your website gives them that, describes what chiropractic can help with in the terms the Advertising Standards Authority accepts, then takes a booking request.

Demo website

Axial House Chiropractic is a fictional business. We designed and built its website as a demo of how we build for chiropractors, using illustrative photography.

Name conditions the way the ASA does
The conditions list reads backache unrelated to injury or accident, mechanical neck pain, headaches arising from the neck, joint pains and minor sports injuries, and generalised aches and pains, in the terms of the ASA's accepted list. Each page says an assessment decides whether chiropractic suits the patient.
Assessment comes first
02 / First visit
Explain the visit and the consent
Four steps set out the first visit: consultation and health history, an explained assessment, findings and options, then care only if appropriate and with consent. The FAQs add that imaging is not routine and that the patient can decline or stop at any time.
Care only with consent
03 / Fees
Show the fee before the first visit
The fees page gives the new patient assessment and the follow-up with their lengths, and an optional six-session package that is only discussed after assessment. It says plainly that the patient does not have to buy one.
No package required
Built for your patients
Everything a patient checks before a first appointment.
A booking request on every page
New patient or follow-up, the chiropractor, then a preferred time, and the clinic confirms each request. If your diary lives in a booking system, we check how the site can pass requests to it before quoting.
Your GCC registration, where patients look
Chiropractor is a title protected by law. The GCC suggests showing your registration number on your website, and its I'm Registered mark is the logo registrants may use.
The Doctor title, qualified properly
If you use Dr, the ASA and CAP advise qualifying it at once as Doctor of Chiropractic, with a clear line that it is a courtesy title and not a medical qualification. Profiles are written that way from the start.
Condition pages in accepted wording
The ASA and CAP publish the conditions chiropractors may claim to treat. Your service pages work from that list, and anything beyond it waits until you hold the evidence.
Fees a patient can read before booking
The assessment, the follow-up and any plan, each with its price, and a plain line that care follows the assessment rather than a fixed course.
Advice for before the appointment
Short guides on preparing for a first appointment or talking about your working day, written to prepare the patient rather than promise a result.
Found when patients search
The right patients. Clearly informed.
Chiropractor website design for the patient reading up before a first appointment, with fees and registration in plain view.
Patients searching nearby
Around 49,500 searches a month look for a chiropractor nearby. Each is someone choosing between clinics before they call.
Patients checking cost and registration
Searches for chiropractor cost run at about 210 a month, and "gcc register" is searched about as often. Your fees and your number on the site answer both.

How it works
From first chat to a website that works.
- 01
Brief
Tell us the conditions you see, your chiropractors and their GCC numbers, whether anyone uses the Doctor title, your fees and how you take bookings. We agree the scope and a fixed price.
- 02
Build
The booking request, condition pages written from the ASA's accepted list, profiles, fees and advice, written with you. You sign off every page and every claim.
- 03
Launch
We send a test booking request, check each GCC number on the register and each Doctor title against the ASA's advice, and try the site on a phone. Then it goes live on a domain in your name.
Your questions, answered
A few things chiropractors ask us.
Need a straight answer? Speak to us.
0161 399 4054What will my fixed quote include?
Your pages, the features on them, the final price and the timescale, in writing before you pay a deposit. Hosting, care and any ongoing SEO are listed separately, so you can see what is one-off and what is monthly. On the Business package the first year of hosting and care is included.
Is chiropractor a protected title?
Yes. Under section 32 of the Chiropractors Act 1994, describing yourself as a chiropractor, or any other kind of chiropractor, is an offence unless you are registered with the General Chiropractic Council. Every name on your website that carries the title should be a registered chiropractor.
Are chiropractors allowed to use the title Dr?
Registered chiropractors may use Doctor of Chiropractic as a courtesy title. CAP advises qualifying Dr in the same statement as Doctor of Chiropractic, and saying clearly that it is a courtesy title and you do not hold a general medical qualification. The GCC says this applies on websites and social media too. As for DC on its own, the ASA ruled in 2018 that "Dr [name] DC" was not clear to consumers, so CAP recommends making plain that DC stands for Doctor of Chiropractic.
Which conditions can a chiropractor's website mention?
The ASA and CAP publish a list of conditions they accept chiropractors may claim to treat, including mechanical neck pain, backache not arising from injury or accident, headache arising from the neck, minor sports injuries and generalised aches and pains. Anything beyond the list needs robust clinical evidence, and claims about conditions specific to babies, children or pregnant women are unlikely to be acceptable without it.
Should my GCC registration number be on my website?
The GCC suggests it: its guidance lists your website among the places to show General Chiropractic Council and your registration number. You must not use the GCC's own logo, but registrants may use its I'm Registered mark.
Can I see a chiropractic website you have built?
Axial House Chiropractic, above, is a demo we designed and built for a fictional clinic, so you can try the booking request, the fees and the condition pages yourself. It is not a client site, and its profiles, fees and reviews are samples.
